Furness Academy North Site Poetry Competition
The poetry performance event was a success this year and will become an annual Academy occasion. Every student in key stage 3 participated in a class competition reading out their favourite poem. The winners however met for a grand final in centre hall. The skills on show were brilliant. Students communicated confidently, performing with expression and real enthusiasm. The audience also experienced the talents of Chloe Mease singing an enchanting song and a young dancing troupe. This event demonstrates the presentation skills developed in the Academy.
