Alfred Huberman Writing Competition31-Jul-2017
Congratulations to Lewis Shears, Lillie Grace Roberts, Olivia Linton and Robbie Nicholson whose entries were all highly commended in the Alfred Huberman Writing Competition. Out of almost 500 entries from 11 different schools, our students did extremely well and the judges were impressed with the quality, stating that they were "strong individual voices which had something to say”. Each commended student will receive a signed copy of the book by Arek Hersh 'A Detail in History', together with a certificate. (Arek was one of the child Holocaust survivors who came to Windermere).
