Safer Internet Day07-Feb-2018
This week, our assemblies are being led by Mrs Rawlinson and Mrs Lyons who are speaking to the students about how to use the internet safely, with a big focus on the emotional health and wellbeing of our students.
The Status of Mind report by The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) stated that social media use is linked with increased rates of anxiety, depression and poor sleep.
We want our students to be aware of the negative effects social media can have and what help there is available for them. As Mrs Rawlinson, keeps reminding our students, social media is not the "real world", but an enhanced version of it.
